Participating as a Walker
670 % of the Goal €1,000.00
Hi there,
I'm raising funds for the Marie Keating foundation through 100K in 30 days for the month of June.
This is my second battle with cancer. My first was in 2010 with cervical cancer, and then in Dec 2022 i got diagnosed with breast cancer. The two completely unrelated. I've just been unlucky twice. But it also made my doctor's query whether there was any genetic issues in play.
I just found out last week that I have the BRCA1 gene mutation meaning ill be having extensive preventative surgeries too. I'm personally benefitting from the Marie Keating foundation for supports on this too and it's all very new to me.
I have been having chemo since the first week in January and I'm due to be finished the first week of June and will hopefully hit my goal of walking 100km within the month of june 💪🏻
Honestly I would like to thank everyone for their donations so far and for signing up to do the fundraiser too.
I'm overwhelmed by all the kind and supportive words too 💗
If you'd like to join me on this 100km during the month of June you can sign up on www.100kin30days.ie and joining my league "Karen's pink army"
