A very special dedication to a very special woman. Carmel lost her short battle to breast cancer May 2022, she was an ecentric, hilariously funny, outgoing & kind person who loved to travel especially with her brothers and sisters. Her four daughters, friends and family are taking park in the 100km challenge in celebration of Carmels full life and to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. We would greatly appreciate any support or donations to the cause.

Breast cancer, when caught early, has the highest five-year net survival rate, of 85%, but is the most common cancer in women in Ireland.
Early detection is key and in previous years we’ve focused on researching a cure, this year we are going for put a section of funds to prevention, education and early detection programmes run by the Marie Keating Foundation.
